Although The International 2019 looks like far on the horizon, there are in fact only a few months before regional qualifiers for the most important tournament of the year and only two Majors left on the Dota Pro Circuit schedule. With that in mind, some of the Chinese teams are doing intense shuffle maneuvers now.

Team Root players all scattered to different teams

The news doesn’t come as a surprise considering Team Root’s non-existent results. The team formed at the beginning of this season and featured big names from the Chinese scene, such as Yao “Yao” Zhengzheng , Xie “Super” Junhao and Leong “ddc” Fat-meng. But despite their players’ experience and high expectations, Team Root didn’t qualify to any of the DPC events so far. It got even more complicated for them a few weeks back when their carry Yang “END” Pu was officially announced to have joined EHOME. Today, Royal Never Give Up announced on Weibo a few role swaps in their main team, and a few additions to what will be their second Dota 2 team. The secondary team will go by the name Royal and features Super in the coach position, DDC in the support and most probably captain role as well.

According to sources close to PSG.LGD,  Yao “Yao” Zhengzheng  will be joining the team and will work work with Yao “QQQ” Yi  in coaching PSG.LGD. He placed third with China’s power house team at TI2 and TI5, he played for their secondary team LFY and also wore the CDEC jacket at times. In the post TI8 shuffle, he joined Team Root, but unfortunately the team was a complete fiasco. Now he is back to the team he devoted nearly his entire career.
CDEC Gaming are also reportedly, welcoming a player back. Chen “Victoria” Guanhong, who was on the Team Root roster as well, will rejoin CDEC for the final sprint through the 2018-2019. Dota Pro Circuit. Both LGD and CDEC are yet to make an official statement about these two players.
