Following Song “Sccc” Chun’s departure from the team from earlier today, EHOME were quick in finding a replacement and announced LGD. International carry Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son to have joined in.
Sccc departed from EHOME at his own request, the organization announced earlier today, leaving the team down to four players just 10 days ahead of the Dota Pro Circuit China Regional League Season 1. EHOME are one of the four teams directly invited to the upper division, which makes the sudden roster change rather strange. While Sccc might be losing entirely the chance to play on the first DPC season, Ahjit, who until today had no chance at fighting even for Southeast Asia lower division, is now set to play for a spot at the first Major of the year via China region.
Ahjit joined LGD.International back in April last year and got to play in several tournaments under their banner before the team was going once again into an inactive status. He hasn’t registered with any other Southeast Asia roster ahead of the 2021 DPC and despite playing through the last couple of months of 2020 with Ink Ice at Perfect World Dota2 League, according to the announcement made by EHOME today, he was transferred to EHOME from LGD.International and will take the carry role for them.
EHOME current roster:
- Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son
- Guo “Xm” Hongcheng
- Yang “Chalice“ Shenyi
- Pan “Fade” Yi
- Jian Wei “xNova” Yap
Ahjit will make his debut under the EHOME banner on the 18th of January when China Regional League upper division is set to begin. Unlike the rest of the regions, China will play all the upper division games on LAN. Besides EHOME, the other three directly invited teams to the upper division are PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming and Elephant. Four more squads will join them via a closed qualifier bracket that will unfold January 8-10.
