FaZe Clan have confirmed previous reports about what their line-up for the IEM Katowice Major will be. Janko “YNk” Paunovic will replace Robert “RobbaN” Dahlström as head coach of the team, while Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev will stand in as FaZe’s fifth.
AdreN’s potential acquisition was first reported by VPEsports in December, when multiple sources indicated that the organization is in talks with the PGL Krakow Major champion. At the time, it was unknown whether AdreN would join FaZe on a full-time or temporary contract. The Kazakh comes to fill the spot of Finn “karrigan” Andersen who was benched and later given on loan to EnVyUs for the Major.
YNk’s move was reported by Real Sport just a few days ago, and puts the Serbian analyst at the helm of another star-studded CS:GO roster. YNk comes from a five-month stint with MIBR, during which time he led the team to a top 4 placement at the London Major and second place at both BLAST Pro Series Istanbul and ECS Season 6 finals. YNk will replace FaZe’s former coach RobbaN who stepped down as head coach on Sunday. The Swede will remain on the team, however, taking on another role within the organization.

These signings finalize FaZe Clan’s roster for the Major, which now looks like this:
— Håvard “rain” Nygaard
— Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
— Ladislav “GuarduaN” Kovács
— Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
— Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev (stand-in)
— Janko “YNk” Paunović (coach)
FaZe Clan still hold their legend status after finishing top 8 at the London Major, but the star roster will certainly be gunning for more than a quarterfinal finish in Katowice.
