FaZe has revealed Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras as the replacement for Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer on a stand-in basis. It was announced yesterday that the 28-year-old would be taking a break in order to “regain” his motivation.

The Swedish star stated that “during the last period I have felt increasingly fatigued and that I have been losing the motivation I needed to do myself, my teammates, and the FaZe brand justice.”

Bymas is just 16-years-old but has turned heads with his performance in FPL. The young talent took home first in the hub in October, showing he’s a capable player, however, he’s never played in an official match against a top-30 team.

FaZe pulled a similar move when adding Helvijs “broky” Saukants to the lineup last year. The 19-year-old AWPer was relatively inexperienced and was able to jump into the star-studded lineup and attempt to prove himself on the big stage.

Bymas will get his first shot to prove himself as this article is typed with FaZe taking on GODSENT in the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – Europe event. The score line is currently 10-3 in favor of FaZe on their opponents map pick, Nuke.
