On Saturday, November 14th, the China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 kicks off and today the final team was confirmed as the qualifiers came to an end – with Sparking Arrow Gaming claiming their spot at the event.

While we’ve seen a lot of Dota 2 action from Europe, CIS and the Americas, China has only seen a handful of events featuring every one of the biggest teams in the region. The upcoming China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 will do exactly that though as Elephant.4AM join in the mix, having now been at the first iteration of the event. At Season 1, we witnessed the PSG.LGD lineup returning to winning ways, as they dominated the event, losing only a single series on their path through the tournament.

Although having played through the first season of the event, Sparking Arrow Gaming were unable to win a single series during the group stage and were swiftly eliminated. But, having made their way through an amazing qualifier bracket – taking down the likes of Invictus Gaming, Aster.Aries and CDEC Gaming, SAG is looking like a dangerous opponent once again. The full list of teams at the upcoming China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 is:

  • Vici Gaming
  • Elephant.4AM
  • Royal Never Give Up
  • Invictus Gaming
  • Team Aster
  • Sparking Arrow Gaming

With a full round robin group stage rather than separate groups for the teams, it will be interesting to see just which teams are strong enough to come out on top of the China region.
