Luminosity have revealed the “immediate and full release”: of their Counter-Strike lineup. The organization broke the news via Twitter.
In the post, Founder and President of Luminosity Gaming, Steve Maida talked about their break out in CS:GO with the ex Keyd Stars lineup that went on to win MLG Columbus and build the Brazilian scene into what it is today. That roster went on to join SK Gaming and then MIBR.
“This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make as the founder of the company” Maida said. “I’m proud of what we built and achieved together. A major Trophy! Multiple trophies! We lifted a community, a country!“
In terms of what will happen with the current roster, they will be sticking together. Luminosity has given the ESL Pro League and ECS spots to the players as they look for a new organization to represent.
The teams coach, Rafael “zakk” Fernandes provided a TwitLonger in which he explained that the roster would be sticking together and he believes they “finally have the lineup that we want and the teamplay has being perfect.”
Even with three of the players free of any contracts, they believe this team is where they should be according to zakk. He urges anyone interested in negotiating to reach out to himself via email or Twitter.
