It’s worth noting that the number of teams participating in Majors for the 2024 season has been reduced compared to the previous year’s large-scale events, which featured 24 teams.

While Phase One and Two of the tournament will not be open to the general public, Phase Three is set to deliver an exhilarating experience for a live audience.

Rainbow Six Siege joins an impressive roster of esports titles hosting major tournaments in the United Kingdom this year. Alongside the Major, there are other notable events scheduled, including Dota 2’s ESL One Birmingham, League of Legends’ 2024 World Finals, and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024, among others, all taking place in the UK.

Second esports season of Rainbow Six Siege

BLAST, a prominent esports tournament organizer, has entered its second season of hosting Rainbow Six Siege esports events. Aside from managing Ubisoft’s esports ecosystem, the company also produces and hosts tournaments for popular games like Epic Games’ FNCS (Fortnite) and RLCS (Rocket League), as well as its own semi-franchised Counter-Strike league, BLAST Premier.

Recently, Rainbow Six Siege announced changes for its competitive season in 2024. Notably, these changes include updates to the Global Point System, which determines team qualifications for the prestigious Six Invitational. The aim of these updates is to give greater importance to a team’s performance in Majors, emphasizing their results in these significant events during the qualification process.
