Closed qualifier PGL Copenhagen Major
Open qualifiers for the PGL CS2 Copenhagen Major kicked off in Europe and the Americas on January 8, with the Asia-Pacific region joining the fray a few days later. Participating teams compete for a place in closed qualifying tournaments under RMR.
PGL Copenhagen Major is the first Counter-Strike 2 tournament organized by Valve. The last Major we saw was the BLAST.tv Paris CS:GO Major, which took place in the capital of France in May 2023.
To qualify for the Copenhagen Major, teams will have to go through several stages at once. If their path begins with the Open Qualifiers, they need to advance to the Closed Qualifiers and then to the RMR Regionals, where they will compete for a slot in the main tournament.
