Maximiliano “max” Gonzalez, often simply known as Max in the CS2 scene, is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Argentina. Max began his esports journey in 2017 and quickly gained attention for his sharp skills and leadership qualities.
Max first joined Malvinas Gaming in April 2017, winning Musimundo Gaming Week 2017. In March 2018, he moved to Furious Gaming, helping the team claim victory at HyperX Defuse. A short stint with Coscu Army followed, but he returned to Furious Gaming by August 2018.
Later that year, Max made a pivotal career move by signing with Isurus, achieving notable success including winning ESL LA League Season 3. Although Isurus participated in events like ESL Pro League Season 9 – Americas and Season 10, their final standings were just outside the top tier.
In early 2020, Max joined the renowned South American squad 9z Team, becoming a key player. With Max’s leadership, 9z won La Liga Season 3: Sur Pro Division – Apertura and FiReLEAGUE 2020: Cluster Sur. By 2021, Max helped the team break into the top 4 at DreamHack Open March 2021: South America.
