Participants and format
The highly-anticipated PGL Major Copenhagen will unfold in three captivating stages: the Opening Stage, the Elimination Stage, and the thrilling Playoffs. The Opening Stage will kick off with 16 formidable teams, engaging in intense battles within the Swiss system format. Matches will primarily be played in a Best of 1 (BO1) format, except for the elimination matches and clashes determining progression to the next stage, which will be fought out in a Best of 3 (BO3) format. The top eight teams emerging triumphant from this stage will earn their ticket to the next round – the Elimination Stage, while the remaining eight teams will sadly bid farewell to their Major journey.
In the Elimination Stage, the eight teams from the preceding stage will join forces with another eight teams from the previous Legends Stage.
