Call of Duty will host a new crossover

Publisher Activision has unveiled an exciting collaboration between the popular Call of Duty franchise and the sci-fi series The Boys. The official announcement was made on the shooter series’ official website.

This special event will be featured in the Reloaded season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. Players will have the opportunity to acquire the A-Train and Fireworks sets from the in-game store. These sets will include character skins from The Boys series, as well as themed weapon designs, cards, stickers, keychains, animations, and other cosmetic items.

Furthermore, a unique version of the Kill Confirmed mode will be introduced, offering players a distinctive gameplay experience. In this mode, defeated opponents will drop “V” drug injections, which temporarily grant superpowers to the players. Alongside this, a set of challenges called The Boys: Supe Siege will be available, encouraging players to utilize these superpowers while providing rewards in the form of bonuses and cosmetics.

The heroes of the fantastic show will appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone as part of the Reloaded season. The in-game store will feature A-Train and Fireworks packs, consisting of skins, weapon blueprints, cards, stickers, animations and other cosmetic items.

Players will also be able to participate in the Kill Confirmed mode and receive an injection of the “V” drug, which will give fighters temporary superpowers. For using V and completing a series of challenges in The Boys: Supe Siege, gamers will receive bonuses and cosmetics.

Previously, Activision reported on a new wave of blocking cheaters in Call of Duty. The developers managed to achieve great results thanks to the Ricochet anti-cheat update. From November 12, 2023 to the end of December, the authors of the shooter banned more than 23 thousand accounts of dishonest players.
