After a good start of 2018 with a legend spot at the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018, mousesports kept a good rhythm and won the StarSeries i-League S4 against Na’Vi and the V4 Future Sports Festival against Virtus Pro. Since then, the team stabilized in the top 5 of the scene, even after replacing support player Martin “STYKO” Styk by the Polish star Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski.
After his arrival, the team did pretty good things at ELEAGUE Premier and DH Master Stockholm but also had bad results with a 9-12th placing at ESL One Cologne and a terrible top 15-16 at the FACEIT London Major. With that placement, the team now has to go through a really hard task with the European Minor.
A lot of rumors are surrounding Snax since he joined and more precisely about the team not being happy by that recruitment and what he brings to the team. It appears that changes were supposed to happen after the Major and the ESL One New York but the good result there kinda saved Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný who was rumored to be the one being replaced.
According to our information, after their bad exit at StarSeries i-League S6, mouz had a meeting to talk about their future. It appears that the Polish player was not invited to the reunion. Sources told us that Snax is expected to be benched in the next days, three and a half months after joining the team.
As of today, STYKO is the favorite to come back in the team as the players from mouz now understand how important he was in the team results. Some other names are discussed but STYKO is still under contract with the organization which would make it easier for him to return.
