G2 have officially announced the duo of Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač have been transferred from CR4ZY to the organization. The Serbian Counter-Strike players will join the active lineup in place of Richard “shox” Papillon and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang, the latter which joined Vitality after being benched.
G2 CEO Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez had the following to say about moving from a French lineup to an international one.
”Make French Counter Strike Great Again”? Screw that. We will show the world, now for the second time, that an international lineup can be number one. This move has us really fucking excited.”
This move comes after a relatively up and down year from G2 alongside growing issues among the team. It of course occurred alongside a French scene shakeup that saw Vitality bench Nathan “NBK” Schmitt who has been replaced by shox himself. Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey has been acting as a stand-in with G2 but looks to have missed out on a longer term contract in the French scene once more as the holes are filled.
