Russian Counter-Strike organization Virtus.pro is working on the transfer of Mateusz “TOAO” Zawistowski from AGO Esports, according to sources close to both organizations. Virtus.pro recently announced in a press release that they would be ceasing competition with their former lineup.
It was reported by VPEsports last week that Virtus.pro intends to build their new lineup around Michal “snatchie” Rudzki and according to the same source, Michał “MICHU” Müller will be retained as well. At this time it is the intention of Virtus.pro to once again field a full Polish roster. However, it is currently unclear how the organization will approach filling the remaining vacancies on the active roster.
TOAO recently went inactive with AGO Esports back in October after spending part of 2017 and all of 2018 on the active lineup. His best finish with AGO came in September with a semifinal appearance against their Polish counterparts on Team Kinguin. Should AGO Esports and Virtus.pro come to an agreement over the transfer of TOAO, the Virtus.pro lineup would currently contain:
🇵🇱 Michal “snatchie” Rudzki
🇵🇱 Michał “MICHU” Müller
🇵🇱 Mateusz “TOAO” Zawistowski
