The International 2019 had a total prize pool of $34,330,068 after 111 days of the Dota 2 Battle Pass being around and after only 61 days, we’ve already almost caught up as TI10’s prize pool has just reached $30,000,000.

It took a little over 74 days for the prize pool to reach the $30,000,000-mark last year – which was considered extremely fast at the time, when looking at the years prior. However, this year has completely trounced that record, as TI10’s prize pool has just peaked over that milestone in only 61 days, more than 10 days faster than the previous year.

This comes just a short time after Valve revealed The Immortal Treasure II, which was released just last night. While the release of this did not boost the sales a whole lot, it is a nice addition to those who have put in the money for their Battle Pass Levels. With only $4,000,000 to go before we reach the previous TI prize pool – and the release of both the Windranger Arcana and The Immortal Treasure III still to come, it’s very likely that the TI10 prize pool goes far above and beyond any of our expectations.

There’s also a chance that Valve could have some other surprises for us, although we have not even the slightest inkling of that they could be – but we’re hoping for something big, especially considering that TI10 may not even occur this year. As we all sit and await more information on the prestigious event, we can continue to enjoy the plethora of Dota 2 events that are ongoing at a national level, hoping that the teams get some international action sooner rather than later.

At the time of writing, the TI10 prize pool is $30,006,609 at least another 40 days left before the Battle Pass comes to an end.
