Hello, friends! Today I am excited to tell you about a truly original game — Comedy Night, created by talented developers from Lighthouse Games Studio. This article is the fruit of my personal creativity. My name is Guard, and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy it!

First of all, it is worth noting that Comedy Night breaks the usual boundaries of the genre: it is not just a game in the classical sense, but a real digital analogue of the famous Comedy Club. The uniqueness of the project is that anyone can feel like a comedian, singer or even a rapper on stage — like Galustyan or Kharlamov. You are free to improvise, joke, arrange rap battles and reveal your creative potential in an atmosphere of drive and fun.

A well-rendered title screen, where our first adventure begins — character customization. Here we are given the opportunity to create our virtual double and give it individuality. Players are offered a large selection of clothes, masks, and even ready-made images. However, it is worth noting that many of the most spectacular items are only available for in-game currency. Fortunately, among the free options you can find a lot of interesting things that make a memorable image in the game with style. The customization process is exciting: we carefully select every detail — from hairstyle to shoes — so that the character really stands out from the rest. Once the image is brought to perfection, we are ready for the next step. This avatar, which will represent us in the game world, and it is important that it conveys our individuality and becomes our voice in virtual reality.

By clicking the “Start” button, we proceed to the choice of server. Unfortunately, the developers focused on the global market, so among the proposed locations there are no servers suitable for players from Russia. Among the available options are regions such as America and Asia. Having assessed the possibilities, we choose the American server.  Then we are moved to the selection screen, where halls of three directions are presented: music, comedy and duet.

Music halls are real temples of rhythm and harmony. The atmosphere of live performance, filled with chords, improvisations and vocal energy, reigns here. The entire space vibrates with the sounds of guitars, keyboards and voices, awakening joy in each participant. Comedy halls are a place where laughter and improvisation reign. Here everyone can try themselves as a stand-up comedian, shine with sarcasm or embody the charisma of great masters of humor on stage. These halls literally breathe drive and positivity, causing bursts of laughter from the audience. Halls with a double microphone are a special format, where two performers come out at the same time. This can be a daring rap battle, a witty dialogue or a spontaneous verbal duel – it all depends on the imagination of the participants. They are characterized by activity, interaction and unexpected turns.

After the hall type is selected, the system offers to go to the next screen. There are two options: create your own place or join an existing one. In case of creating a new hall, you can set the language in which the audience will communicate – and yes, Russian is included in the list of available ones. When choosing from ready-made halls, you can see how many spectators are inside: this number is shown next to the name and helps to evaluate the popularity and activity of each hall in real time.

We find ourselves at a cozy table, as if in a soulful bar or a bustling club, where the atmosphere is one of anticipation and creative intensity. Ahead is the stage, where another charismatic artist comes out to conquer the audience with his inimitable skill. The most diverse people are seated around the hall – each with their own character, life baggage and secrets. If the action takes place online, the atmosphere can resemble a virtual carnival – loud, colorful, permeated with jokes and emotional outbursts.

Somewhere nearby, strict moderators are always on guard, vigilantly monitoring the order. They will immediately expel those who decided to ruin the evening with inappropriate words or aggression. A number of blinking icons enliven our presence. One of them – a cheerful smiley – gives the opportunity to express emotions: whistling, applause or delight. Another one, with a microphone, seems to be calling you onto the stage: “If you want, come out and show yourself!” And now you have a chance to sound, to become part of this colorful, lively performance.

Once you click, you’ll be instantly transported to the stage if it’s vacant or as soon as the last performer leaves. The camera serves as your tool for view control, allowing you to engage the audience effectively. The megaphone represents the chat feature; by tapping on it, you can share your thoughts through the microphone, ensuring that everyone in the audience will hear your voice loud and clear. That’s pretty much the entire process. Just click the icon featuring the person and the microphone, and go ahead – it’s your time to shine and showcase your unique talents. However, always remember to be courteous and considerate to others. Keep in mind that people are observing and listening attentively to you. To run Comedy Night you will need at least 4 GB of RAM and 2 GB of free space on your hard drive. A video card of at least the Radeon HD 7690M will provide minimal graphics performance. A processor no weaker than the Pentium Extreme Edition 955 is also required.
