‘Chiu on This’ is a short and regular opinion blast
Yesterday Seoul Dynasty played Dallas Fuel in Overwatch League. One of the maps was on Route 66. In that match Dynasty was on the offense for the third point. It was at this point that I started to question the composition of Dynasty. The critical point I’d like to point out was Fleta was on McCree and Tobi was on Mercy. I asked one of my friends (someone who fiend Overwatch), and he told me that the theoretical reason you do this is to enable McCree with the damage boost and that Tobi’s Mercy isn’t such a liability on that part of the map. As it turned out, Tobi’s mercy like Stage 1 got picked multiple times.
I thought this was an interesting interaction as we see a real sacrifice of one player’s skill to enable Dynasty’s arguably best DPS player from Stage 1 (if we’re talking about form, I think Munchkin has been better since they’ve come back). The problem with this is that Tobi is such an abysmal mercy player that I don’t think it’s ever worth it to flex him to Mercy.
