Today, the Los Angeles Valiant announced the release of four players: Sebastian “Numlocked” Barton, Stefano “Verbo” Disalvo, Finnbjorn “Finnsi” Jonasson and Christopher “Grimreality” Schaefer. The released players largely served LA Valiant as substitutes, with the exception of Verbo who played Lucio early this season. Additionally, Grimreality transitioned into a team support role mid-season and saw no playtime. Numlocked and Finnsi received playtime near the end of the season and the former notably raised concerns about playtime.
Los Angeles Valiant CEO, Noah Winston, had this to say about the released players.
“We thank Numlocked, Verbo, Finnsi, and Grimreality for their contributions to the LA Valiant during Overwatch League’s inaugural season and wish them well in future endeavors.”
