TSM president Leena Xu leaked by mistake that “nobody wants to pick up [jugler] Dardoch”, talking on the phone while being in the same room where Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng was streaming.

“It’s not up to me,” Xu can be heard in the background. “Like, for example, no one wants to pick up Dardoch. That’s not my fault.”

Xu’s latest mistake, which she openly admitted on Reddit, is another nail to the coffin that TSM has been lying in since they signed Doublelift. The veteran AD Carry has publicly admitted that he is in a relationship with Xu, which immediately raises a many red flags about potential conflicts of interest.

Xu and Doublelift has since denied that this is indeed a conflict of interest, with Doublelift calling it an “alignment of interests” instead, proving that the concept is foreign to TSM players and management.

Instead of repairing the optics of the situation, Xu’s Reddit statement made things somehow worse.

“DL has streamed in the past while I was working and we didn’t have many issues,” Xu writes, alluding that she has potentially conducted TSM business in the presence of her boyfriend, while he was on a rival team (Team Liquid).

In the aftermath, H2K founder Richard “Rich” Wells called out TSM’s lack of professionalism, calling them an “American high school org shit” and a “joke”.

TSM owner Andy “Reginald” Dinh also came out with a TwitLonger addressing the many recent issues with his company, apologizing to Dardoch for the leaked information, while also stating that, in his eyes, there is no conflict of interest between Xu and Doublelift.

“Each and every business has different policies surrounding these matters. For me at that time, I thought that there was enough — and there still is enough — distance surrounding their working relationship that I am comfortable with their roles as the majority shareholder of Swift. Both Leena and Peter are also the very best candidates for their positions. In my opinion as the leader of this organization, there is no financial benefit or working benefit from their relationship.”

This leaves the question of where would Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett go during the off-season, especially after his career prospects have plummeted in the wake of Xu’s leaked conversation.
