After several years of decline and failure in the region, many North American teams are now completely revamping themselves, with the intention of restoring LCS to the glory and international relevance it once had.
One of the clearest examples is Team SoloMid. The legendary organization didn’t have its worst year, but we all could see what a big disaster the 2020 World Championship was for them.
That was one of the reasons why TSM needed to take drastic measures, and big changes were not long in coming.
A few weeks ago, we knew that Søren «Bjergsen» Bjerg, TSM’s mid laner, had announced his retirement after eight years as a professional League of Legends player. Nevertheless, the Danish player didn’t abandon the ship and became the new Head Coach of the team.
Thus, TSM had an empty spot in the mid lane and many candidates were rumored to replace Bjergsen, but nothing happened… until this weekend.
It’s time for a new era.

With this announcement, TSM revealed that Tristan ‘PowerOfEvil‘ Schrage will be the LCS Mid Laner for the next season.
PowerOfEvil comes from a very successful year in FlyQuest, with whom the German player managed to end in the second position of the LCS twice in 2020, and qualified for the World Championship for the first time in the history of the organization.
With this movement, the mid laner joins Heo ‘Huni‘ Seung-hoon, TSM’s new top laner, Mingyi ‘Spica‘ Lu, one of the few remaining veterans of the organization, and Yiliang ‘Doublelift‘ Peng, the AD Carry that, according to rumors, might not continue with TSM if the club is not able to sign Hu ‘SwordArt’ Shuo-Chieh as the new Support.
We will keep you updated with any new information about TSM’s roster, stay tuned!
