Team Vitality (VIT) placed fourth in EU LCS Spring after losing 3-2 to Splyce, but placed third in the EU LCS Summer Split after defeating Misfits Gaming 3-1 yesterday. As a result of Fnatic’s 3-1 win in the EU LCS final over Schalke 04, Team Vitality qualified for the 2018 World Championship. Following Schalke 04’s loss, Vitality secured the #2 seed via circuit points. Schalke 04 will compete in the Regional Qualifier next week from September 15th-17th.

VIT will participate in the Group Stage event on October 10th in Seoul, South Korea, along with fifteen other teams from the major regions and Play-In qualifiers.
