When the 2018 EU LCS Summer Split kicks off, fans and spectators alike will hear and see some new talent on the broadcast team.

Christy “Ender” Frierson will be leaving the Riot Playtest team as a QA Analyst and will begin the split as a colour caster. Ender is ready for the new challenge and said, “I’m thrilled to get the chance to be on the EU LCS broadcast for the first time. Can’t wait to talk about the game I’ve worked on for the last year!”. He’ll also have a rooting interest in H2K. “Their late-season run to playoffs was nothing short of outstanding. Now that this roster has had some time together in the off-season, I’m sure they’ll come back stronger.”

In addition, two rotating guests will join the broadcast team. Dan “Foxdrop” Wyatt and Josh “Jarge” Smith” will occasionally join the desk as guests to breakdown matches and what-have-you. Foxdrop, a well known YouTuber, is anxious to hit the desk and offered fans a glimpse towards his style. “I’m excited to take a different direction with the game I’m still so passionate about. I have two simple rules for my casting – have fun, and chat shit. And I’m so ready to have loads of fun and chat loads of shit.” Jarge, a coach with six years of experience will look to offer the broadcast some coaching insight. “I’m excited to start looking at the game from an alternative perspective and lending my experience to the already talented broadcast crew. I have strong opinions and will not be afraid to share them!”

The 2018 EU LCS Split begins on June 15, 2018.
