G2 esports is making the move into an international roster that will include a Serbian and Bosnian player alongside their French trio. This news comes from 1pv.fr and claims Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač will be officially joining the organization soon.
This was originally rumored to be in the works around the time that Richard “shox” Papillon and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang departed G2’s active CS:GO roster.
Carlos “ocelote” Rodríguez, G2’s CEO, was said to have been in contact with several members of the CR4ZY lineup. nexa and huNter- are the apparent targets for G2 as they look to find players to join Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, Audric “JACKZ” Jug and François “AmaNEk” Delaunay.
According to the report, nexa will take over the teams in-game leader duties while huNter will be the one-two punch alongside notorious AWPer kennyS.
This move comes after a relatively up and down year from G2 alongside growing issues among the team. It of course occured alongside a French scene shakeup that saw Vitality bench Nathan “NBK” Schmitt who has been replaced by shox himself. Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey has been acting as a stand-in with G2 but looks to have missed out on a longer term contract in the French scene once more as the holes are filled.
