One of the rarest and most sought after skins in Fortnite has found its way back. The Skull Trooper has returned to the game with Fortnite’s latest update and this time it’s got some fun new features.
The skin was originally added to the game as part of Fortnite’s inaugural Halloween celebration but was removed after the season had passed never to be seen again – until now.
Making its return in the “Skull Squad” as it’s called, the set includes the Skull Trooper and Skull Ranger skins. In addition, however, is the ability to customize the popular skin. Popular leaker TwoEpicBuddies have provided fans with images of the skins and customizations. The purple variant is only available to those who had managed to get their hands on the original release of the Skull Trooper in an attempt to put them at ease for the rarity of their skin being decreased.
The complete Skull Squad Set:
- Skull Trooper (Skin)
- Skull Ranger (Skin)
- Skull Sickle (Pickaxe)
- Crypt Cruiser (Glider)
There were apparently issues with the addition, however, and the development team has already committed to getting it fixed in the next update.
“Skull Trooper styles have a visual issue when viewing the Outfit from the Locker.
- The Outfit still appears properly in-game.
- This issue will be fixed next patch.”
