In another major move from Epic Games, one of Fortnite’s most popular creators has received an in-game skin. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins revealed today that his fans would be able to grab a skin based on himself and his brand within the game.

Having been one of the biggest creators to help push Fortnite as it surged into the spotlight, Ninja has long been hopeful of receiving an in-game item such as this.

“I’ve dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game,” he said in a tweet announcing the in-game cosmetic. The skin will be available from Thursday, January 16th at 6 pm CST until Sunday, January 19th at 7 pm CST.

In terms of what cosmetics are available, those interested will be able to purchase the Ninja Outfit, Ninja’s Edge Back Bling, Ninja Style Emote and Dual Katanas Pickaxe.

The “Icon Series” as its called will most likely feature several other popular Fortnite creators and celebrities with Epic Games claiming that “gaming, music, film, and fashion will collide.” “Loserfruit, TheGrefg, and more” are already confirmed to be getting a similar treatment.

The Icon Series is Epic Games’ next step in helping to make and keep their platform and Fortnite then next big thing. So far they’re doing a fantastic job.
