The creepy but damn charming cleaning simulator Cleaner Company has finally got a publisher — the company Mythwright has taken over the project. In honor of the announcement, the developers from Wildflame Studio have rolled out a fresh gameplay video that clearly shows exactly how we will scrub the alien corridors.

The Cleaner Company project is focused on online co-op for four people — you take on the role of “Star Cleaners”. This is not a job for the faint of heart: you will have to build a marathon in the scenery of classic space horror films. Locations range from abandoned stations and sinister unexplored planets to ruined restaurants where mountains of alien debris await you instead of tips.
The team will have to clean out nasty stains and get rid of the remains of creatures using an impressive arsenal — from a banal mop to a very serious firearm. Apparently, the emphasis is on grind and progression: By collecting resources and closing contracts, you gain access to better equipment. By the way, realistic physics brings chaos to the process — one awkward movement, and the freshly washed floor is again filled with toxic slime.

If PowerWash Simulator offered pure relaxation, then everything is much more stressful here — they only give 20 minutes for a mission. The gameplay of Cleaner Company is based on a delicate balance between cleaning and survival in the spirit of Lethal Company. At abandoned sites, piles of corpses are mixed with acid pools, and each type of mud requires its own reagent. Otherwise, the Chaos Physics 2.0 physics engine will work — barrels will explode into the air, and monsters will climb out of the ventilation.
The horror elements are not for show here. Alien creatures love to jump out of ambushes, forcing players to rush between high-pressure washing and shooting at vulnerable enemy points. Collecting resources is the foundation for upgrades:

Cleaner Company is scheduled to be released in 2026. The game will reach PC and will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
