One piece of information is however missing. The number of open qualifiers teams that will advance in the closed regional qualifiers from each region will be announced Monday, July 1, after the EPICENTER Major. The closed regional invites, format and full schedule are also expected to be announced as soon as the Major in Moscow, Russia finishes and all the teams will know where do they stand in the Dota Pro Circuit rankings.

According to Team Secret’s manager, Matthew “Cyborgmatt” Bailey, Valve has already informed the teams that the invites to the regional closed qualifiers will be announced 1 hour after the conclusion of the EPICENTER Major grand final, but more importantly, once the EPICENTER is over, all the roster will become locked.

With that in mind, any team that wants to make a swap ahead of the regional qualifiers should make their decision until this coming Sunday, June 30 in order to avoid the open qualifiers road.
