The two Greek friends and former teammates at Ad Finem and Mousesports, Giorgos “SsaSpartan” Giannakopoulos and Kharis “SkyLark” Zafeiriou are going to start the new competitive season in South East Asia at Clutch Gamers.

SkyLark joined the SEA team at the beginning of the year, in January and fought for a spot at The International 2018 with Clutch Gamers, but for the charismatic Greek captain SsaSpartan the previous season was pretty much a dry spell.

Despite being the heart and soul of the magnificent Greek squad Ad Finem, which placed second at the Boston Major at the end of 2016, SsaSpartan stood teamless for almost the entire 2017-2018 DPC season after his team disbanded in December 2017.This spring he played in the WESG Global Grand Finals along three of his former teammates, including SkyLark and they secured a third-place finish in China, but other than that he had no other notable achievements.

A couple of days ago SsaSpartan tweeted that he is considering to move to SEA as he can’t find a place to play in Europe. However, he didn’t give any hint of his intentions to reunite with Skylark.

Today Clutch Gamers announced the full roster for the upcoming season after making a final addition, a young talent coming from Myanmar to occupy CG’s mid lane. “With a mix of veterans and new blood, we hope to create new legends! Support us through as we train for upcoming tournaments,” said Clutch Gamers in their announcement made earlier today on Facebook.
