The last regional final at WeSave! Charity Play pitted Peru against Brazil as Thunder Predator and NoPing esports were the two squads poised to fight for supremacy in a best-of-five series commentated by the back to back TI champions Sébastien “Ceb” Debs and Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, who joined Gabriel “Lyrical” Cruz remotely.
NoPing were given no chance at taking at least a single game in the series. The only time when they had a glimmer of hope was in the first match of the night where their safe lane Juggernaut-Snapfire dual was somewhat successful, while Adriano de Paula “4dr” Machado was also able to control the mid lane on Ember Spirit. However, Thunder Predator built a comeback past the 15 minute mark and eventually their Terrorblade took full control of the game. From there on, the Peruvian team went rampant on their adversaries. In game two they brought four highly mobile heroes to chase down NoPing all over the map. Slark, Puck, Ember and Nature’s Prophet were all too much for NoPing’s carry Riki to deal with and headed into the third and final match of the series, the Brazilian team was executed by a similar line-up, but with a Troll Warlord also dishing out high building damage.
