With the first Minor and Major qualifiers of the new Dota 2 Pro Circuit season quickly approaching, many teams have begun confirming their lineups – with Team Sirius joining in with the announcement of their squad.
After a rather poor DPC season, the Chinese roster with the famed Liu ‘Sylar’ Jiajun have decided to change things up, only keeping a single member from their previous iteration – their position 4/5 support. Announced via the squad’s Weibo account just a short time ago, the new Sirius roster will be hoping to drastically improve on their previous results.
- Lin ‘doodle’ Zikai
- Deng ‘Dstones’ Lei
- Hu ‘Guvara’ Sen
- Xu ‘HYM’ Zhi
- Cheng ‘Mad’ Han
Many of the members of this new squad have spent time within some of the biggest clubs in Chinese Dota 2 such as Invictus Gaming, Aster.aquarius and EHOME but now come together on Sirius in hopes of making their mark on the DPC season.
The previous players from the roster such as Yang ‘InJuly’ Xiaodong and Li ‘ASD’ Zhiwen have not yet announced if they will be joining any rosters for the next season. The other rather big roster change is the disappearance of Sylar from yet another Chinese roster. While none of these players have announced any new teams just yet, we still have a few weeks left until the first Minor/Major qualifier gets under way.
