Internet issues plagued beastcoast’s run through the BTS Pro Series Americas. With all their members playing from home, and not from a team house or a bootcamp, beastcoast managed at the beginning of the month to take the title in the SA Division of ESL One Los Angeles Online, but the past couple of days have gone from bad to worse.

After three series lost in a row in the BTS Pro Series group stage, they’ve been forced to actually forfeit the next one, giving business associates a free win. Their last three series were held against CR4ZY, Quincy Crew and FURIA on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of the month and beastcoast managed to grab a victory only in the very last one, against their fellow South American squad FURIA. Unfortunately for FURIA, the event came to an end without a single victory and along with beast coast they got eliminated, and that makes Thunder Predator the only team from SA to make it to playoffs. However, they placed fifth in the group and along with Cloud9 will head into the lower bracket rounds.

Quincy Crew have been so far the dominant force in the competition, finishing at the top of the group without dropping a single series. The ESL One Los Angeles Online NA champions, Evil Geniuses, placed third playing with two stand-ins, while the second place in the group was claimed by CR4ZY.

The playoffs stage will kick off later today, April 23 at 13:00 PDT/22:00 CET with the Quincy Crew versus business associates quarter finals, followed by CR4ZY versus Evil Geniuses. The lower bracket rounds are set to start tomorrow, April 24.
