J.Storm announced the acquisition of Forward Gaming’s Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok. Although the Ukrainian carry hasn’t been on the FWD active roster at the OGA Dota PIT Minor, Reso was still a part of the team.
In the aftermath of the Stockholm, DreamLeague Major Resolution took a competitive break while Forward Gaming announced a two-man roster change. It was said back then that Reso will benched until after the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major and that he will “most likely” return for the EPICENTER qualifiers. Resolut1on was a few weeks ago in Split, Croatia to watch from the arena his team’s run through the playoffs lower bracket at the Minor and it looks like his visit had another purpose as well.
With just two days of matches left at the MDL Major, Reso is now joining J.Storm who had to release one player and undergo some role swaps in order to make room for him.
“Despite the win at WSOE, the team has struggled with communication and in practice games behind the scenes. That, coupled with our disappointing results in the previous qualifiers, has led the team to believe that a change needs to be made to gives us the best chance of qualifying and making an impact at TI9.”
Sangdon “FoREv” Lee is released from the team and now has about three days to find a new place if he wants to compete in the EPICENTER qualifiers. North America qualifiers invites haven’t been announced by the Major organizers as of yet, but the competition is expected to commence on the 15th of May.
Additionally, J.Storm will move David “Moo” Hul back to the offlane while Clinton “Fear” Loomis and Park “March” Tae-won remain on their support positions.
