Just last week we learned that Natus Vincere’s roster had seen a mass-exodus of players and coach and just a short time ago, the final players remaining were removed from the roster as the team announce the new signing of FlyToMoon’s roster.

A lot seems to be going on within the CIS Dota 2 scene as we have seen a weekend with many announcements coming out from the region. At the head of these was Natus Vincere seeing three players and their coach all exiting the organisation on Friday as the team looked to rebuild with only two players remaining on the roster. However, earlier today, an announcement came out from the organisation which saw an entire new team being signed by Na’Vi as the FlyToMoon roster was signed.

Na’Vi COO since February of this year, Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov, had the following to say about the acquisition of the FTM squad,

FTM has been playing together for quite a while without any contractual obligations, salaries and other benefits of the dota sphere, and yet they managed to maintain a high level of discipline within the team. They showed good results in many tournaments this year due to a well-established training process.

This is exactly what the CIS-dota is lacking, where many professional players are looking for ways to play with friends or join them at their first call. These kinds of scenarios eliminate the prospect of building something long-term. Sooner or later all teams face issues, and it’s important to be able to find the strengths to deal with them instead of running away.

Today we are glad to start our partnership with FlyToMoon and we will do our best to have our fans hyped with the team’s performance.”

The full new Na’Vi roster is:

  • Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey
  • Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko
  • Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini
  • Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan
  • Andrey “ALWAYSWANNAFLY” Bondarenko
  • Sergey “AnahRoniX” Bykovsky (manager)

This announcement comes just two days after FTM picked up RodjER officially and qualified for the upcoming OGA Dota PIT Season 3: EU/CIS event. This tournament kicks off tomorrow, September 23rd and this is the first time we will get to see the players fighting under the Na’Vi banner. It will be interesting to see if this new squad can bring the Na’Vi organisaion back into the limelight, especially considering that FTM have showed a lot of great performances this year.
