Zhang ‘LaNm’ Zhicheng’s poor placement at The International 2018 with Vici Gaming would see himself and two others depart from the squad – but while the others remain without a squad, LaNm is now locked in. The team is called DeathBringer Gaming and features a host of well-known Chinses Dota 2 players coming together, some having previously played on the same teams.
On the 9th of September 2018 Wang ‘H2O’ Wenhao, team leader of EHOME, left the Chinese organization and decided to create a new Dota 2 team, taking with him some of the EHOME roster. After failing to qualify for TI8 H20 took Hu ‘Guvara’ Sen, the now ex-EHOME offlaner as well as Xu ‘Hym’ Zhi – who moved to inactive on the roster back in May. Another player who joins after failed TI8 qualifiers is Yang ‘Ms’ Yongjie, who played for Keen Gaming.Luminous but was unable to prosper with them unfortunately. The final member of the DeathBringer Gaming lineup is Liu ‘Freeze/Kamma’ Change who attended The International 2018, playing for VGJ.Thunder. Unfortunately for him, the team were extremely poor and suffered an early exit to the hands of LaNm’s ex squad, Vici Gaming.
The full roster of DeathBringer Gaming is:
- Yang ‘Ms’ Yongjie
- Liu ‘Freeze/Kamma’ Chang
- Hu ‘Guvara’ Sen
- Zhang ‘LaNm’ Zhicheng
- Xu ‘Hym’ Zhi
We are excited to see this new Chinese roster perform through the new season of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit, especially with legends such as LaNm on the team and wish them all the luck in the coming weeks of qualifiers.
