After Jacky ‘EternalEnvy’ Mao’s Flying Penguins squad disbanded once again, the player has now been included in a new squad to participate at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major North American qualifiers.

The recent Flying Penguins timeline is extremely convoluted and included disbands, new rosters and more disbands.

It was clear two days after David ‘MoonMeander’ Tan, Ilya ‘Lil’ Ilyuk and Pittner ‘bone7’ Armand joined EE for the North American open qualifiers for MDL Disneyland Paris, that the team were already done. After being knocked out instantly there were a string of Tweets from EE’s account asking for a team from any region.

However, something seems to have changed again as EE has been spotted as part of the Team Team roster. While not confirmed to be a permanent fixture just yet, EE will join them through their upcoming ESL One Birmingham Open Qualifier tomorrow and subsequently for the closed qualifiers of MDL Disneyland Paris.

The full new roster for Team Team going into the two qualifiers is:

  • Jacky ‘EternalEnvy’ Mao
  • Nico ‘Gunnar’ Lopez
  • Braxton ‘Brax’ Paulson
  • Jason ‘Newsham’ Newsham
  • Michal ‘ixmike88’ Ghannam

Oddly enough, it was TT that knocked out EE’s Flying Penguins from the open qualifiers before forfeiting their next series due to the team receiving a direct invite into the closed qualifiers. It will be interesting to see if TT can push past the likes of Forward Gaming and J.Storm to make it to the next Major.
