The new team will compete under “Just Error” or simply 404 tag and have been granted a free pass straight to a decider game for the second place in qualifiers. While mudgolems took the first qualifier slot last night besting Yellow Submarine (YeS) 3-1 in a best-of-five grand finals, the latter will have today to go by another hard test against the newly formed CIS super-star team.

  • Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko
  • Syed “SumaiL” Hassan
  • Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov
  • Alexey “Solo” Berezin

EPIC League qualifiers started on the 29th of October with the open brawl for two spots into the closed qualifiers. Yellow Submarine were one of the teams invited to the closed qualifiers and got seeded in Group D, which they crushed with a 4-1 score. Given the group play score, they started the playoffs from the upper bracket and cut through Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-0 before being dropped into the lower bracket finals. Yesterday, they played seven games in total, taking down 2-1 Live to Win, Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev’s news squad and had a rematch with mudgolems, which they lost 1-3.

Today will bring the last chance for Yellow Submarine to clinch the finals spot into the $500,000 Division 1 of EPIC League. The match up against Just error will be played in a three-game series starting at 13:00 CET/20:00 PST.
