Initially announced as a feature part of the TI 10 Battle Pass, the Dota 2 Summer Event is now live and can be played as a new game mode by all players, regardless of owning or not The International 10 Battle Pass.
Aghanim’s Labyrinth is a four player roguelike mode, in which you are presented with different rooms full of powerful creatures gathered by the mighty Aghanim himself to challenge you and your party.
Players will be able to choose their path through the labyrinth, and through each run they will collect shards of the shattered Aghanim’s Scepter. The Aghanim shards are to be used to improve your chosen hero abilities to help you get as deep as possible into the labyrinth.
At the end of the labyrinth players will be facing off against the powerful Apex Mage, believed to wield demi-god powers. After Apex is defeated, players will be able to challenge themselves through Ascension Levels of the Labyrinth and win unique rewards.
More than that, once per week starting with July 21, players will be able to compete on a global leaderboard. The fastest and most successful parties will be rewarded with Aghanim’s rarest and most valuable prize. There are four ascension levels with the following rewards:
- Tier 1: Aghanim’s Interdimensional Baby Roshan
- Tier 2: Waterlogged Kunkka Shoes
- Tier 3: Random Arcana
- Tier 4: A weekly in-game Aghanim’s effect for defeating the first boss
TI 10 Battle Pass owners who adventure in the Aghanim’s Labyrinth will be able to unlock up to 2,000 Battle Points each week. More details regarding the Dota 2 Summer Event, Aghanim’s Labyrinth can be found on the official event page, HERE.
