HellRaisers have just one position to fill in after signing two CIS high profile cores. Following Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok’s addition from January 1st, HR have also announced the signing of Zaur “Cooman” Shakhmurzaev.
Through the online season of 2020, Cooman played for just two squads. He started the year at the main team of Virtus.pro, where he actually got the chance to play alongside Resolut1on. After VP decided to bench the entire main roster, Cooman moved to Cyber Leagacy, but struggled to find success in the combined Europe and CIS online tournaments and at the beginning of November, he was the only one left on the team. By the end of the same month, he was also let go.
With him now joining HellRaisers, the team has three core players known for their versatility, which is definitely opening the door for a very interesting lineup and might force the opponents to a mental game before anything else. Although HR haven’t confirmed who will be playing in what role, it would be fair to assume that Cooman is more likely to have joined in the carry capacity, while Alexander “Nix” Levin will be moving to the mid lane. Resolut1on, who joined the team yesterday, is probably going to continue in the offlane, a role which he embraced last year when he joined Virtus.pro.
HellRaisers current roster:
- Zaur “Cooman” Shakhmurzaev
- Alexander “Nix” Levin
- Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok
- Ilya “LIL ME ALONE/Lil” Ilyuk
First season of CIS regional league, part of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit, is set to begin on the 18th of January with a total of 16 teams from the region fighting through Upper and Lower divisions. Valve announced that for the inaugural season they will decide which four teams in each region will be invited straight to the Upper Division, but while the Southeast Asia and South America invites have been already revealed, the CIS, Europe, China and North America direct invites are yet to be announced.
