It has been a rather long time since Artur ‘Goblak’ Kostenko has been seen on the Dota 2 competitive scene – but he returns in a stack with Gleb ‘Funn1k’ Lipatnikov.
Goblak is a well-known face and name in the CIS region, having played for teams such as Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, and Team Empire – but in the last 2 years, Goblak has been out of the Dota 2 competitive scene. During this time, the Ukrainian support player worked at a host of Dota 2 events such as The International 2017 and 2016 and both the Boston and Kiev Majors. However, he makes his return now, joining forces with Funn1k.
Another extremely well-known player in the CIS region, and worldwide, Funn1k was a part of The International 3 runner-up Na’Vi squad – in what is one of the most memorable finals in the history of Dota 2 events. After Funn1k’s previous squad, M19, disbanded a few days ago – he quickly found himself amongst a new CIS squad, hoping to stamp their name on the Dota 2 scene.

The squad will compete under the name AFK.Tarelka and line-up like this:
- Gleb ‘Funn1k’ Lipatnikov
- Artur ‘Goblak’ Kostenko
- Bektur ‘Runec’ Kulov
- Segey ‘EcNart’ Slobodyanik
Czar seems to be a completely new player on the Dota 2 front, while Runec is an ex-MVP Revolution and NoLifer5 player – playing the position 1 carry role for his ex-teams. EcNart is a support player who last played for Comanche in 2017. The squad will be performing in the EPICENTER XL major qualifier later this month and it will be interesting to see them in action, especially the return of Goblak.
