TNC Predator will attack the upcoming Major with a coach on their side for the first time since TI9.
Kim “Febby” Yong-min will join TNC for the Dream League Season 13: The Leipzig Major ride in the coach capacity. The tournament, set to start in just four days, on the 18th of January, is the second Major of the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit season and even a top 6 finish would most likely lock in TNC for a spot at The International 2020. The Southeast Asian squad has started the new season with a bang, by claiming the title at ESL One Hamburg 2019 and then becoming the MDL Chengdu Major Champions as well, despite playing the two events without a coach.
Last month, they attended the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore, which was the first tournament where some of the biggest tier one teams were also participating, and when seeded on the same group with Team Secret, TNC barely made it to the playoffs, after three losses and a draw result in the group stage matches. They got eliminated in the first round of the lower bracket by Vici Gaming, the team that got defeated by TNC in the Chengdu Major grand finals.
Dream League Season 13: The Leipzig Major will unfold January 18-26, with 16 teams fighting for the title and for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 DPC points. Along TNC, the Southeast Asian region is represented also by Fnatic and Reality Rift.
