With the EPICENTER Major coming in up in just a few short days and the final two teams confirmed, the groups for the final Major of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit season have been announced – with some interesting teams facing off.

It is unsure how the seeding for this Major was done but it has created a big commotion over on Twitter and online in general about some of the groups. Group A seems to be one of the easiest on paper while Group D is a verified “group of Death” but with a TI8 rematch.

Group A

  • Team Secret
  • Fnatic
  • paiN Gaming
  • Royal Never Give Up

Group B

  • Evil Geniuses
  • Team Liquid
  • Infamous
  • Gambit Esports

Group C

  • Virtus.pro
  • Alliance
  • Forward Gaming
  • Vici Gaming

Group D

  • PSG.LGD
  • OG
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • TNC Predator

While the groups have been announced, there is no information about the tournament’s format released just yet – this means that it is unclear whether or not any teams will be eliminated after the 2-day group stage or if all 16 teams will progress into the playoffs.

All-in-all, this will be a tough tournament for all, but especially for teams such as Gambit Esports, paiN Gaming, Forward Gaming and TNC Predator; to name but a few. On the plus side, we will get to see a much-awaited rematch of The International 2018 grand finals as OG and PSG.LGD will face off in the same group.
