Dominik ‘Black^’ Reitmeier is an extremely well-known personality in the Dota 2 community, having played around the world and now he has decided to return to the pro-scene as he joins the South Americans of Infamous.
Black^ has been part of the Dota 2 world ever since the beginning, playing for countless teams of varying fame; including the likes of Fnatic and Vici Gaming. Having played for teams in North America, Europe, China and Southeast Asia, this move to South America is barely a surprise as Black^ completes his global tour of professional Dota 2.
In March of 2019, Black^ played alongside the SEA DeToNator squad at the MDL Disneyland Paris qualifiers which was the first time we had seen him leaving his panel position to play once more, since late in 2018. More recently, Black^ played as a stand-in for Enzo ‘Timado’ Gianoli at the World Showdown of Esports (WSOE): Dota 2 – Serenity’s Destiny. With Timado leaving the squad a week ago, a spot opened up and Black^ obliged by taking his place among the South Americans.
The current Infamous squad is:
- Oliver ‘oliver’ Lepko
- Dominik ‘Black^’ Reitmeier
- Mariano ‘Papita’ Caneda
- Malthe ‘Biver’ Winther
While the squad is not complete, they still have some time before we will see them compete in their first event together. This will most likely be qualifiers for the final Major of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit season, EPICENTER, which take place later this month.
