MDL Macau 2019 will kick off in just five days and once again Beyond the Summit will accommodate the English panel.

The event will unfold at the Galaxy Macau casino Resort with eight teams fighting for a share of the $300,000 prize pool. Four of the eight participants are Chinese teams and Beyond the Summit could not let this event go without inviting one of the casters who spends most of his time covering all the possible Chinese leagues and qualifiers.

Benjamin “Bkop” Kopilow started his caster career just a few years ago and one of the first leagues he followed was H-Cup, a Chinese competition organized by ImbaTV.  Bkop stuck with the Chinese scene and he is probably the most known voice to those who wake up at impossible hours to watch the Chinese qualifiers or the Dota Pro League (DPL) matches.  Despite his commitment, Bkop hasn’t got too many LAN events invitations. His first LAN experience came with the European qualifiers LAN finals for WESG 2017-2018 when he was invited by the organizers to Barcelona. A few months later, he got to go to Manila, Philippines to commentate the second edition of Galaxy Battles, event which was supposed to be a Major part of Valve’s DPC season. Last year, Bkop was one of the six up and coming casters who got the chance to commentate EPICENTER XL, and that was his first Valve sanctioned event.

Unfortunately, that was also the last time we saw Bkop at a big event. Beyond the Summit will bring Bkop at their new house and will have him reunited with David “GoDz” Parker, the one with whom he co-commentated at EPICENTER XL.

Beyond the Summit have a few other surprises as well. Those who follow Dota 2 for a long time will be happy to hear that Andy “Draskyl” Stiles will also be present at the BTS house after a nearly two years long hiatus from commentating.
