In just under two weeks’ time, the first Major of 2020 will get started as we head to Leipzig, Germany for DreamLeague Season 13. Unfortunately for beastcoast, they have already had a setback as one of their players has had to withdraw.
The beastcoast squad are far from an unknown entity in South America or the world, especially after their brilliant run at The International 2019. Since then the squad have already showed their prowess at MDL Chengdu where they finished in the top half of the standings before they continued to excel when they secured one of two spots available for South America at the upcoming DreamLeague Season 13 Major. Unfortunately for the team, with under two weeks to go until things get underway in Germany, beastcoast have had to announce that one of their key players has had to withdraw from the event.
According to their post on Twitter from a short time ago, Adrian ‘Wisper’ Cespedes Dobles will not be attending the event due to a health issue while Rodrigo ‘Lelis’ Santos, the ex-paiN Gaming player, will standin for him. The post continues to say that Wisper will be out until the next set of qualifiers, which only takes place in February 2020.
The full beastcoast squad which will be heading to DreamLeague Season 13 in a few weeks is:
- Hector ‘K1’ Antonio Rodriguez
- Jean ‘Chris Luck’ Pierre Gonzales
- Rodrigo ‘Lelis’ Santos
- Elvis De la Cruz ‘Scofield’ Peña
- Steven ‘Stinger’ Vargas
The team have confirmed that they will be bootcamping from Berlin from January 10th and with the Major kicking off on the 18th, this should give them a short time to practice with their standin.
