Just last week we had the first direct invite for ESL One Mumbai confirmed as Ninjas in Pyjamas were announced for the event. The next team joining in at the event will be Alliance.

Announced just a moment ago on Twitter, Alliance would be joining in the action in mid-April 2019 in Mumbai. Alliance have been showing some promising results lately โ€“ even though not having much luck at recent Majors in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. The team were also recently eliminated in the group stages of ESL One Katowice 2019 but showed some fantastic performances along the way. Alliance are a welcome addition to the event and are assured to produce some great Dota 2 action for all.

The main event for ESL One Mumbai will take place over a 3-day period from April 19th through to 21st and will feature 12 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world. Seven of these teams will receive a direct invite, four will come through regional qualifiers and the final team will be a local squad from India, also moving through an India-only qualifier. While not on the DPC roster, ESL One events always draw in the attention of the entire community and with $300,000 on the line, teams will definitely be trying their hardest to secure a spot โ€“ if theyโ€™re not invited.

More invites are definitely around the corner, especially with the regional qualifiers kicking off in just over five days for most regions. We look forward to seeing who will be invited to join in at ESL One Mumbai 2019.
