A last second change has left the door open for ViCi to join the list of teams competing in China. The Chinese team has been brought on in place of Rogue at the StarSeries i-League Season 7 finals in Shanghai, China.

ViCi will be taking on Natus Vincere in the opening round of the $500,000 tournament. The event begins on March 30 with North vs. NRG & ENCE vs. Team Spirit.

This move comes following the revelation that Rogue would dissolve it’s Counter-Strike division.

Even after this news, Spencer “Hiko” Martin had informed community members that the team would be in attendance regardless of “all of the rumors.”

It seems that this is clearly no longer the case and the team has gone its separate ways already. This makes sense given two of its players have been officially signed by other organizations and certainly have other duties to attend to.

Daniel “vice” Kim has been added to Cloud9‘s CS:GO roster on a trial basis and will attend the upcoming BLAST Pro Series Miami event with the team on April 12. Hunter “SicK” Mims has already joined up with compLexity as well.

It is expected that Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen and Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen will join OpTic gaming. This rumor was further legitimized when Rogue stated that the pair had been “approached with an opportunity to go home to Denmark and form a new Danish roster,” in their official announcement.
