According to a report from DBLTAP’s DeKay, Tarik “tarik” Celik may be on his way to join former teammate Jake “stewie2k” Yip on MiBR. The report claims that the recently departed SK Gaming and current Immortals owned MiBR squad will be looking to replace Ricardo “boltz” Prass on the line up.

boltz was expected to be on his way out earlier this year, however, roster moves failed to go through and he would ultimately remain as an active member of the mostly Brazilian team. Results have been rather lacklustre for the once most fearsome team in Counter-Strike and the departure of Epitácio “TACO” de Melo and addition of stewie did not provide the desired results. The Made in Brazil roster went out in the group stages in Cologne following losses to FaZe Clan and BIG.

With the next CS:GO Major just around the corner, stewie and co. are looking for answers and fast.

This move, should it go through, would leave Cloud9 with just three active members on its roster in addition to Pujan “FNS” Mehta who is still under contract and able to play for the squad. FNS joined the Cloud9 back in April in an attempt to solve the teams’ in-game leader problem following stewies departure. After some unsuccessful runs and “differences in philosophies,” FNS was placed on the transfer list just a month later in May.

In addition, this roster change would prevent Cloud9 or MiBR from making any further changes prior to the completion of their time at the FACEIT Major in London due to Valve‘s rule that at least three of five players on a Major team’s starting roster must remain from the previous Major.

VPesports will provide any additional details as they become available.
