Another piece of the longstanding Virtus.pro roster is on his way out according to a report from DeKay. Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski has left the ESEA Mountain Dew League roster and will not be playing in the organizations matches due to “personal reasons” according to Virtus.pro General Manager Roman Dvoryankin.
He confirmed in the same response supplied by DeKay moves related to be Snax should be finished in the next 48 hours and a move to mousesports is, in fact, one of the possible moves. Snax has been a member of Virtus.pro since January 2014, winning his first and only CS:GO Major just two months later. While considered a top team in the world for a majority of 2015 and 2016, 2017 saw the giants begin to crumble and it 2018 has seen no significant change. The organization had previously swapped out a legend of the golden 5 in Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas for Michał “MICHU” Müller in an attempt to lead the ship to calmer waters but this has clearly not been the case.
mouz will be looking to fill the role of Martin “STYKO” Styk with the move. It was originally thought that Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert would fill in for a benched STYKO at ESL One Cologne, but the organization was unable to make the switch in time for the 14-day roster deadline. STYKO will be benched following the teams time in Germany for the event.
On the Virtus.pro side of things, Piotr “morelz” Taterka is set to stand-in for the Polish side in their Mountain Dew League matches against Vexed and Valiance today.
