According to tweets from Rod “Slasher” Breslau, the name of Riot Games’ highly anticipated first-person shooter will be VALORANT. Previously known only under its alias of Project A or Project Ares, Breslaur has provided screenshots of the games’ Twitter account.
In addition, he also shared screenshots of gameplay which were reportedly accidentally revealed early by IGN. Included in the screenshots appears to be several maps and characters not yet seen previously.

According to Breslau, fans can expect to find out more information regarding the beta on March 2nd (he corrected in a follow-up tweet) while “big name pro players and streamers” from across the gaming spectrum will be flown out to try out the game in mid-March.
