The Made in Brazil division of Immortals has finally revealed who will be coaching the Counter-Strike team today. Janko “YNk” Paunović will be leading the team from this point forward and will be working with the team as they boot camp in Madrid beginning on August 13. The former player, observer, and now analyst will be donning the coaches hat for the first time with this venture.
MiBR has been in a rough spot lately and seen a rather unstable roster over the last 6 months. Jake “stewie2k” Yip joined the team as the fifth back in March which didn’t seem to solve the issues at-hand and recently a second move was made in Tarik “tarik” Celik joined in place of Ricardo “boltz” Prass. Since then the team was unable to defeat Team Liquid on two separate occasions at ELEAGUE Premier 2018 to secure a spot in the playoffs.
The teams’ next event will be DreamHack Masters Stockholm following the upcoming boot camp which will undoubtedly give the new roster some time to gel and bring a more detailed attack to the event.
Current MiBR roster:
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Marcelo “coldzera” David
Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
Tarik “tarik” Celik
Janko “YNk” Paunović (coach)
